Kandy

Arrive in Sri Lanka and meet your Zoom Lanka Tours representative and driver guide. It is important to arrive early to enjoy this tour to the fullest.

To begin the journey, you will first be taken to Kandy, the last Sinhalese kingdom. On the way, stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where you will have the opportunity to show love and care to abandoned and injured Asian elephants, including baby elephants.

Stroll around the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy’s busy streets and around the lake before checking into your hotel in the evening.

Sigiriya

After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka.

During the journey, visit the Dambulu Cave Temple Complex and view thousands of meters of painted walls containing more than 150 images of Lord Buddha, other deities and Sri Lankan kings scattered within five caves. It is said that this place was inhabited by prehistoric Sri Lankans before the advent of Buddhism.

After reaching Sigiriya, explore the ancient fort built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century atop this 200m high rock. After climbing the rock and enjoying the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, spend the night at a hotel in Sigiriya and relax.

Airport

At the end of your short tour of Sri Lanka, check out of Sigiriya Hotel to head to the airport and head to the bustling South Asian city of Colombo to explore unique attractions.
