1

Colombo

Our representative who will meet you at Bandaranaike International Airport will be your personal driver and guide throughout the tour and will take you to Colombo Hotel, the commercial capital of the island, to spend the first night of your tour.

2, 3

Anuradhapura

On the second morning, you will be taken to Anuradhapura, an ancient city with ancient ruins where you can get an in-depth explanation of Sri Lanka’s history. One of the stops along the way is the ancient city of Yapahuwa, which has a history dating back to the 13th century with 300-steps.

 

On the morning of the third day, you will have the opportunity to visit the Mihintala Buddhist Temple where you can see the ruins of the early Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka. You will then be able to spend the second and third days in your hotel environment.

4

Sigiriya

On the fourth day, you will travel from Anuradhapura to Sigiriya and experience lined up among its historical ruins. Also known as “Lion Rock”, Sigiriya is a palace built on a rock by an ancient king and one has to climb the rock to see it. It’s something most of us can do.

 

Climbing to the top of the Rock, you will see some beautiful murals on the rock walls and a lion gate as the entrance to the palace. At the top of Rock you will see the ruins of the palace as well as a stunning view of Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle. After the grueling activity of rock climbing, you will be escorted to the hotel for a relaxing night in a luxurious atmosphere.

 

 

Day

5, 6

Kandy

The next day you will be en route to Kandy, the hill capital of the island, where you can visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where you can hang out with the elephants and observe their lifestyle. The next day you will be taken to Kandy’s beautiful botanical garden to see some of Sri Lanka’s famous and most spectacular flora, where you will spend the fifth and sixth nights.

 

On the sixth day, we will visit Temple of the Tooth, where Lord Buddha’s tooth is enshrined in this gold-roofed temple. Afterwards, you can visit the city of Kandy and in the evening an entertaining upland cultural dance show is arranged for you.

7

Nuwara Eliya

On the 5th day, you will see the beauty of the beautiful city of Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England” and on the way there you will come across the charming waterfalls that tumble down from the mountains. If you want to take a bath, your driver will provide it upon your request. You will be picked up at the hotel and on this day you will have the opportunity to visit the nearby tea factory and experience tea picking.

8, 9

Ella

After visiting the city of Nuwara Eliya and enjoying delicious strawberries, you will be taken to Nanu Oya Railway Station and from there you will enter the charming town of Ella by an absolutely amazing train ride. You spend the next two nights in a hotel in Ella.

 

The next morning, you should reach the place early to enjoy the amazing view of the sunrise from the “Fall Gap”, which is located between two mountain slopes. The rest of the day is reserved for your leisure.

Yala

On day 10 you will depart Ella and after arriving at the hotel, you will have an evening filled with fun-filled wildlife safari activities.

11, 12

Galle

The next morning, you will enjoy a morning game drive at the campsite and then reach the final leg of your tour where you will explore Sri Lanka’s beautiful combination of sun, sand and water.

 

By observing the southern coast of Sri Lanka you can get an insight into the beaches of Sri Lanka.

 

During your two-day stay at the Galle Hotel, you will be taken to visit the well-preserved Galle Dutch Fort from the Portuguese era. In nearby towns, you can visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, visit the coral reefs in Hikkaduwa and indulge in fun water sports on the south coast.

13

Colombo

On the evening of the thirteenth day, you will leave for Colombo and spend the night there.

 

The next morning you are free to shop and explore Colombo. Depending on the time of your flight, you will be picked up at the airport two to three hours earlier.
